Apply to be a part of our executive board!

Join ISA in promoting an inclusive and fun environment for the international community here at Georgetown! We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working team players who have a passion for promoting international culture — you do not have to be a non-US citizen, you just have to have an interest in the international community.

Applications are due Sunday, September 16th 2018. It should only take around 15-20 minutes!

The open positions are:

Global Expo Chair:

  • Global Expo is ISA's largest event of the year, and Georgetown's largest international food and cultural event

  • The Global Expo chair is responsible with coordinating with the Office of Global Services, and cultural clubs across campus to organize this big day!

Social Chair (2 People):

  • Plan social events which foster interactions between the international community at Georgetown, and with the wider Georgetown community!

Marketing Chair - Content Creation:

  • Newsletter - Curate a newsletter for international students at Georgetown which includes events and articles of interest

  • Create content for website blog

  • Preferably have experience using Mailchimp and Squarespace, but all are welcome to apply!

Marketing Chair - Graphic Design and Social Media:

  • Create all visual marketing materials for all events

  • Oversee social media outlets, maintain social media presence

  • Take pictures during events

  • Ensure website is updated

Academic Chair:

  • Plan events which contribute to academic discourse about what it means to be an international student

  • Determine what academic challenges are specific to international students and create programming to help with these challenges

  • Establish a relationship with academic institutions to represent the needs of international students

Professional Development Chair:

  • Work closely with the Career Center to create programming events which will help international students with professional development. Past events have included internship panels, headshot events, Linkedin workshops, etc.
